Terms & Conditions

Your access to and use of this website is subject to legally binding terms and conditions. Carefully read the following terms and conditions before accessing or using this website. Your accessing or use of this website indicates your acceptance of the following terms and conditions and your agreement to be bound by them. The following terms and conditions form a binding agreement (“Contract”) between you and Jamie Eve Hairstylist. We may change these terms and conditions at any time without advance notice. Changed terms will become effective once posted on this website. Your continued use of this website after any change means you have accepted the changed terms and conditions.

DEFINITIONS

Service(s): Any of the services provided by the Company, as listed under the “Services” menu on www.Jamieevehair.com.

Client: The main recipient of the Service(s)

Company: Jamie-eve Hairstylist

Contract: The detailed agreement between the Client and the Company, outlined by contract, for provision of the Service(s)

Fee: Any amount payable by the Client to the Company for the Service(s) in the Contract.

The Event: The occasion and venue where the Service(s) will be provided by the Company

Party: Persons in addition to the Client requiring Service(s) at the Event

BOOKING POLICIES / SECURING YOUR DATE

  • All bookings require a non-refundable $150 Booking Fee, No dates will be secured until the booking fee is received by the company. The booking fee covers all administrative costs associated with your booking.

  • The Pre Wedding Package will be sent from The Company to The Client after the Booking Fee has been received. Which includes the Contract of Services, Invoice and schedule.

  • A Retainer Payment is required 30 days before the event and is non refundable. The retainer payment is 50% of the agreed upon fee outlined in the contract and will be deducted from the total balance due.

  • All details including total numbers of services, start & finish times, hair extensions and other additional costs must all be confirmed at the time of signing the contract.

  •  Bookings larger than the bride and 4 guests and/or bookings with limited preparation time it may be necessary to hire a second stylist or an assistant, if this is the case an additional fee is applicable. You will be informed of this during the booking process.​

 

Payments and Fees

  • All payments from the Client to the Company are not refundable or transferable

  • The retainer fee is deducted from the final Fee due on the day of the event. Events for which a retainer has not been paid on time are not confirmed and The Contract of Services is voided.

  • All Fees are always agreed via Contract of Services and outlined in an Invoice, verbal agreements are not offered as they are not deemed valid by the Company.

  • An invoice for the balance of the Fees will be sent from the Company to the Client with The Pre Wedding Package. The Invoice will outline all fees and dates payments are due.

  • Payments can be accepted by Cash or E-Transfer

 

TRAVEL RATES/ ADDITIONAL FEES:

  • All out of pocket expenses such as parking on location, or any other transportation costs are additional and to be paid by The Client.

  • Additional travel rates will be applied at the time of quote for all bookings over a 30 minute drive from Georgetown Ontario. Travel rates are charged at $1CAD per KM in distance from the starting point for The Company outlined in the contract of services.

  • The earliest call-out time for on-location services is 6:00am. Additional fees may apply to services required prior to 6:00am.

  • Accommodation the night prior to the event may be necessary depending on start time and distance to travel, all accommodation expenses will be paid by the client. All details will be discussed and agreed with the Client in The Contract of Services.

  • Accommodation should be at least a 3-star standard.

  • The Company will always endeavour to find the most cost-effective option for travel and Accommodation.

  • Extra charges are applicable for single bride bookings and there are minimum booking sizes for bridal services for certain times/distances, these are detailed on an individual basis and discussed prior to booking.

Hair Extensions

  • For most bridal hairstyles extensions are necessary to ensure longevity and quality of the Style. If the Bride chooses not to have extensions when deemed necessary by the company their style choice may not be possible and the company holds no responsibility on longevity of the style.

  • A Hair Extensions Consultation is necessary if extensions are going to be used on the day of the event. All consultations must be done in person and colour matched by the company.

  • Jamie-Eve Hair recommends BFB clip-in Hair Extensions for her brides. These extensions come in full sets and filler sets and can be customized for each of my brides

  • Hair Extensions come at an additional cost and can be ordered by The Company for the Client.

  • If The Client chooses to supply their own hair extensions The company holds no responsibility for quality, colour or any unforeseen issues with the hair.

  • Payments from the client to the company for hair extension consultations are non refundable and not transferable

  • All Payments taken for BFB Hair Extension Consultations are deducted from the total cost of your new set of extensions

  • If the client chooses to supply their own hair extensions they must have an in person hair extension consultation. This can be done during the bridal trial.

  • If the client does not bring  their hair extensions on the day of the trial they may be required to book a second bridal trial or another hair extension consultation at an additional cost

  • All BFB hair extension consultations must be done at least 2 weeks before the Bridal Trial to allow time for delivery and customization

  • The company holds no responsibility for any hair extensions when they are not in possession of the company. The client accepts full responsibility for all hair extensions purchased once they have agreed to order the hair.

  • If colour adjustments are necessary to blend your hair extensions there will be an additional cost to the client

Cancellation Policy

  • Payments made to the Company for a service that is subsequently cancelled by the Company will be refunded in full to The Client at the earliest convenience of the company.

  • Cancellations by the Client for a wedding service within 30 days of the event will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total agreed upon fee outlined in the Contract of Services. This fee will be retained by the company though the retainer fee paid by the client 30 days prior to the event.

  • Cancellations by the client prior to 30days before the event will not incur a cancellation fee. Booking Fees remain non-refundable.

  • Cancellations by the Client for a non-wedding service that are received less than 2 weeks before the start of the service incur the full cost of the booking.

  • Cancellations for services booked where travel and/or accommodation expenses have been paid for by the Company and are non-refundable by the travel/accommodation provider(s) will incur full reimbursement from the Client to the Company for the travel and/or accommodation costs paid.

  • Payments made for trial sessions or hair extension consultations are non-refundable.

  • Once the retainer payment is received by the company to the client no amendments can be made to the number of services in the contract. All services outlined in the contract must be paid for by the client.

  • If last minute changes are necessary, the client must contact the company at their earliest convenience. The company will do their best to accommodate any necessary last minute changes however your requests may not be possible.

  • Cancellations are only valid if received in writing via email to Jamieevehair@outlook.com

 

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

It is the Client’s responsibility to inform the Company of any potential issues such as but not limited to medical conditions, allergies, and/or sensitivities. The Company can not be held liable for any condition that arises or loss incurred by the Client if the Client has not informed the Company of any known conditions as stated above, or of any conditions unknown to the Client at the time of the service.

It is the Clients responsibility to confirm all services booked under the contract of services 30 days prior to the event. Any amendments must be made before the retainer fee is paid 30 days before the event. The client is responsible to make payment for all services booked under the contract of services after the retainer payments is received by the company.

The Company reserves the right to cancel the Contract if the behaviour of the Client is deemed inappropriate and/or if the Client reports a condition that the Company deem as a risk to the Client’s health and well-being. In these cases any payments that have already been made by the Client for the service are non-refundable.

 

It is the Clients responsibility to ensure that their party is behaved and treating the company and any third party company with respect. There is zero tolerance for harassment and bullying in any form. If anyone known to the client harasses the company or any third party company the contract of services is voided.

 

COMPANY RESPONSIBILITY

The Company will always endeavour to honour the Contract to the best of its ability. However there may be circumstances beyond the control of the Company where Illness, family emergency, or any other unforeseen circumstances may result in the company being unable to provide the services outlined in the contract. In such a case the Company will inform the Client at its earliest convenience and endeavour to make favourable alternative arrangements if possible.

The Company reserves the right to offer the Client compensation in the event that it is not able to honour the Contract. This is entirely dependent on the circumstances and will be discussed openly and honestly with the Client.

The Company holds no responsibility for any personal property of the Client or the Party including but not limited to clothing, hair accessories and/or hair extensions used during any services provided to the client.

The Company endeavors to attend the event on time and preform the services outlined in the contract for the client and their party. The company will act with professionalism throughout the event and always strive for pristine customer service. The company reserves the right to cancel the contact of services at any point in which the company has been harassed or abused in anyway and for any reason the company is made to feel uncomfortable to preform the services outlined in the contract.

The company is responsible for maintaining communication with the client. The company will always discuss any fees in advance with the client and provide updated invoices as necessary. If there are any unforeseen costs the company incurs in which the client is responsible, the company will notify the client immediately and provide an invoice at the earliest opportunity.

 

Canadian Copyright Law

Copyright protection is automatic in Canada. A work need not be registered with the Canadian Copyright Office nor does it have to be marked with a © to indicate that it is copyright protected.

Restricted Uses
Unauthorized copying or commercial publication or exploitation of text, images, audio and video clips and other content of this website including publication, retransmission, broadcast, circulation, selling, reproduction or redistribution, except as authorized by Jamie Eve Hairstylist, is specifically prohibited. Anyone wishing to use any text, images, audio and video clips and other content for commercial use, publication, or any purpose other than fair dealing as defined by Canadian law, must request and receive prior written permission from Jamie Eve Hairstylist. You covenant and agree not to use any screen scraping, framing, bots, spiders, crawlers, avatars, intelligent agents or other automated processes on this website or its content, without Jamie Eve Hairstylist written consent. Permission for such uses may be granted on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Jamie Eve Hairstylist assessed depending on the type and nature of the proposed use.

Limitation of Liability and Indemnity
IN NO EVENT WILL JAMIE EVE HAIRSTYLIST OR ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL (INCLUDING AMONG OTHER THINGS LOSS OF REVENUE OR PROFITS), PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY, DAMAGES OF ANY KIND OR SUBJECT TO EQUITABLE OR INJUNCTIVE REMEDIES (WHETHER BASED ON BREACH OF CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE) ARISING OUT OF ACCESS TO, OR USE OF THIS WEB SITE, OR DELAY OR INABILITY TO USE THIS WEB SITE, OR ANY INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS WEBSITE.
